Easy Kandinsky Abstract Painting
Oct 22, 2022I'm not much into predictions, but I really really want to know how 2020 is going to end! COVID-19, remote learning, social distancing and the closing of lots and lots and lots of our usual 'go to' hang out spots - our school holidays will look ALOT DIFFERENT this time round.
I have loved seeing teachers all over the world posting video lessons to inspire their students and keep their creativity going whilst being stuck at home! I am jumping on the video-lesson training and have just released a School Holiday Art Lesson series and FREE ART PACK, just in time to keep the little artists making art.
EASY ABSTRACT PAINTING is the first lesson in the series and uses two of my favourite art supplies – a black oil pastel + watercolours.
This lesson is “fail safe” – no mini artist needs to worry about “getting it perfect” as we will be having some fun with abstract art just like the Master Artist Wassily Kandinsky. Kandinsky is a famous Russian artist and pioneer of the Abstract Art movement. He found lots of inspiration for his artworks from listening to music. So get your tunes ready, we will make are and listen to some fun beats.
I recommend this beautiful musical piece to listen to whilst creating your artwork Carnival of the Animals
